Membership is aimed at bringing together traditional martial artists who wish to refrain from the politics and large fees of the larger groups. For those seeking to better understand the history, philosophical and technical practices of the original art. Our information-base brings together the product of generations of experience for the purpose of sharing with its membership.

Below are the current membership options.

•  準会員 Junkaiin (Associate/Individual Member)

Associate membership is open to any individual with an interest in traditional karate practices. The objectives of associate membership are to engage individuals in association activities and to share information with each other. Associate members have access to our information network. Associate members do not have to change styles, or follow our curriculum, or relinquish other organizational affiliations. Individual membership is the standard membership option available to you through our society. Membership is on an annual basis, giving you great membership benefits all year-round.

Note: At this level there is no requirment to change style or transfer to our art.

Annual fee is just US$35.00 or its equivalent. CURRENTLY FREE

•  副支部 Jun Shibu Dojo

This membership tier is aimed at any dojo or school looking for a new home. All the benefits of individual membership with the additions below.

 Have official affiliation.
 Credible source through which to continue your learning progression.
 International rank recognition.

Note: At this level there is no requirment to change style or transfer to our art.

Annual fee is US$45.00 or its equivalent.

•  支部道場 Shibu Dojo (Branch Dojo)

Branch Dojo membership is open to any dojo teaching Ryukyu Karate Jutsu. The Shibu Dojo falls under the guidance of the Director [Carter Hanshi] and must follow all administrative procedures set forth by the So-honbu dojo and have authority to use the association name, logo and issue dan/kyu grades within our curriculum. Shibu Dojo gain access to the International Shuriway Karate & Kobudo Society information network (members only area).

 International rank recognition/certification for instructor and mudansha students.
 Discounted rank certification fees for yudansha students.

Annual fee is US$55.00 or its equivalent.
